Sandy Hollow Cove Affordable Housing Plans to Be Reviewed

New, 3 comments

Yesterday, Southampton Town Supervisor Anna Throne-Holst said that she will ask that plans to develop affordable housing in Tuckahoe be mothballed until a panel of experts can review them. The proposal to build 34 apartments on the 2.6-acre parcel has attracted a lot of criticism from local residents, with concerns over groundwater and traffic, among others. Possible alternatives include a mixture of owned units and rentals, whether other sizes of units are more feasible, and so on.
