Rudeness in the Hamptons has reached fever pitch. One of our readers reports: "On Sunday I witnessed an amazing scene on the Luxury Liner where two paying passengers were yelled at and physically thrown off the bus by the driver.

"The last two people to board in Southampton found no seats when they got on the bus. Clearly the driver had not checked everyone else improperly at the previous stops. Instead of asking every person already seated for their names to find out who had taken these people's seats, he ordered them off the bus, yelled at them, and then slammed the door in their faces, almost injuring the woman. The entire bus was shocked by this behavior and also the fact that having a reservation clearly doesn't mean anything. He left them stranded by the side of the road on a Sunday evening with no ride back. So much for $40/seat on a bus!

"I called the Lux Liner from the bus as did other passengers to report the incident and asked them to call me back and let me know what had happened - no reply." Hey, Hamptons Luxury Liner, what gives?
