Back in April, we wrote about Dock to Dish, which was aiming to apply the CSA model to fishing. Subscribers would purchase a share of a fisherman's catch over a set period of time. The program started Memorial Day with 60 members; its second season began July 5, still with more than 60 members, but now Nick & Toni's restaurant is also on board, a huge boost for Dock to Dish. Joe Realmuto, executive chef, is texted on Friday about what fish are available; if any is left over after being distributed to members, other restaurants in the Nick & Toni's group, including La Fondita and Rowdy Hall, take it.
