Any Hamptonite who loves books should make sure to get to East Hampton Library's annual Authors' Night. Not only do you get to support a great local institution, you get to chat with some of your favorite authors (more than a hundred of them!) while they sign a book for you. Gwyneth Paltrow and Alec Baldwin got most of the attention, but we felt like squealing like a fangirl when chatting to Susan Isaacs, Ted Rall, and Nile Rodgers. We also made sure to pick up a copy of the new edition of Houses of the Hamptons, one of our favorites. This edition has new chapters and lots more color pictures, so make sure to check it out.
