Rustic Bayfront Summer Camp in North Sea for $2.995M

This 1925 cottage dates from the days when families who lived in the village during the winter repaired to local "camps" by the water in the summer. Pictures of it was included in the 2012 exhibition "Escape to the Bay: Family Camps in Southampton," at the Southampton Historical Museum. We actually really like the interior with the inglenook fireplace and think it's a shame to tear it down, but, we guess, time marches on. The cottage is a compact 790sf, but the property is one acre on a bluff with steps down to the beach at Little Peconic Bay.
