We're bonkers over this compound in Remsenburg. "Compound?" you say. Why yes, we say. There are five buildings in total: a main house built in 1790 and renovated in 2003, two guest cottages, an icehouse converted into a sauna (brilliant idea), and a two car garage. The main house oozes with charm, with a large living room, sunroom, library, dining room, a professional kitchen, master bedroom suite, guest bed/bathroom and three fireplaces. In one of the cottages, we adore the sweet vintage living room with green 1940s chairs. Outside, there's a heated gunite pool and rolling greensward on 1.38 acres.
