Beating Down the Doors in Sag Harbor Designer Consignment

New, 16 comments

It's handbags at dawn for two Sag Harbor consignment shop owners. Corner Closet, at 108 Main Street, moved in four doors down from rival Collette, which pissed off owner Tisha Collette. On June 7, Collette and her husband Shane Dyckman (owner of Sag Town Coffee) walked past Corner Closet yelling "I hate competition." Then Dyckman kicked the front door in, shattering the glass. He was arrested. Dyckman tried to apologize to the owner of Corner Closet, saying he was drunk. Her reply: "Being drunk doesn't cut it with me. What are you, Mel Gibson?"
