Commenters yesterday speculated on the plans Ira Rennert has for his 110,000sf Sagaponack estate. One person wrote, "Well he's planned all along to turn it into a school so this only makes sense. It requires every conceivable amenity, including a yoga/Pilates studio." Kellsboro Jack replied, "School or religious center? Either way the town shouldn't bank on those property taxes being in play forever. Tax exemption won't be too far behind if either plan does come to fruition."
