If Loving This East Hampton Water Wheel House is Wrong, We Don't Want to Be Right

New, 4 comments

We think this place is just magical. The house looks like one of our favorite paintings, "A Mill at Gillingham in Dorset" by John Constable. The water wheel actually helps keep the man-made pond at the correct level. The pond is spilling over with waterlilies and irises. Inside, the house is a rustic 1940s camp type, which we quite like, although we'd update the kitchen. We know kids would adore the bunk room. For $1.095 million, you get 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths in 1600sf on 1.2 acres, with the opportunity to purchase two separate one-acre parcels.
