Remember the $8.8M North Haven Gambrel?

New, 9 comments

Of course you remember the "environment-loving gambrel in North Haven" that sold for $8.8M last autumn. It was built in 2010, designed by Katherine McCoy, with seven bedrooms, 150' of Sag Harbor Bay frontage, and a separate "guest barn wing" for visitors. Memories are all that's left, as it's been torn down. That doesn't strike us as very environment-loving! We hear that the new owners have commissioned local architect Blaze Makoid to design a modern house to replace it.
