Alec Baldwin Gets Wet and Wild for Charity

New, 5 comments

Last night, Hamptonites turned up at the Dive Into Summer Gala at Wölffer Estate Vineyards in Sagaponack to show their support for the Group for the East End. Maybe it was Alec Baldwin emceeing the event in his wife's (rather feminine and extremely vibrant) wrap that got attendees to dig so deep into their pockets. But, clearly, cleaning up Long Island's water supply was on the forefront of the agenda for Bob DeLuca, president of the organization. He told us, "There is an opportunity to create a system of water quality protection that is integrated and looks at the connection between the groundwater and surface water." It turns out that the beautiful people of the East End also make pretty good watchdogs of the environment. Who knew?
