Everyone loved the interiors of Villa Maria. Alan Renshaw wrote, "My great grandfather bought the villa about 1919 and there were a number of unique construction items he instituted, e.g., the floor in the living room was constructed using teak from the refurbished ships in his Brooklyn drydock. I wonder how much of those original items were kept by the new owners." Anyone know? [Curbed Comments]
