An Austin, Texas, food-truck-turned-brick-and-mortar restaurant is opening in Montauk on Memorial Day. Lucky J's Chicken and Waffles will bring Southern soul food classics to West Lake Drive this summer. With boneless chicken, their chicken and waffle taco makes for a great handheld meal. The restaurant will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so that late night revelers and early fishing boat crews alike can savor classic street food.
Update: hours for June are as follows: Mondays and Wednesdays: 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM; Tuesday: closed; Thursday-Sunday: 3:00 AM - 10:00 PM. July and August 24/7.
