Waterfront favorite the Beacon reopens for the season today; dinner will be served Wednesdays through Sundays, with Mondays starting Memorial Day and lunch service starting June 16. On the menu will be new dishes alongside favorites like like steamed mussels "Beacon Style" with garlic, white wine, lemon-thyme, cream and tomatoes; crispy fish tacos; lobster mafaldine with roasted corn, basil, saffron and cream; oven-roasted chicken; and pan-roasted local tilefish with baby beets, braised leeks and skordalia.
