Concerned Citizens of Montauk and the Montauk Chamber of Commerce are sponsoring a program on April 12 that helps municipalities plan for and mitigate coastal hazards. The course, "Coastal Community Resilience," was put together by the National Disaster Preparedness Training Center along with FEMA and Homeland Security. Gurney's Inn donated the conference center; limited spots for the public to attend are available.
