Newly Redone in North Haven for $1.75M

New, 1 comment

This house is billed as "Arts and Crafts" in style. It so happens we've written books about Arts and Crafts and this ain't it; it's a 60s contemporary with a Craftsman pillar out front and new windows. Still, it's appealing. Everything has been redone nicely: the kitchen with professional appliances and soapstone counters; there are four new marble bathrooms; and the rear deck is ipe wood, which is extremely tough and durable. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor and two upstairs. The property is .62 acres with a freeform gunite pool, and there is a kayak/paddleboard launch at the end of the street. Two caveats: the staircase without handrail strikes us as dangerous; also, Gustav Stickley wouldn't have mounted the TV above the fireplace.
