Lazy Point Teardown Moved into Contract Quickly

New, 3 comments

This tiny cottage on a small (.15 acre) plot in Lazy Point clicked over into contract in the blink of an eye. Even given the fact that you're not even paying for the land, because the land in Lazy Point is owned by the Trustees of East Hampton, and the house is a teardown (so what you're paying for is the right to rebuild a small cottage, because the trustees will not allow the buyer to put a McMansion on the site), the price was astonishingly low for Amagansett: $295,000. No wonder it sold so quickly.
