Oceanview Farm, the 23-acre facility on Montauk Highway, is to be turned into a 55-and-older residential community according to a plan explained at a meeting of the Citizens Advisory Committee on Monday evening. The plans call for a co-op community called 555, with 63 cottages, 26 apartments, a community center with dining room, a pool and a fitness center, and a pond and windmill, all connected by walkways and arranged around three common green spaces. Units would be priced between $850,000 and $1.8 million. Next up is zoning permission before the East Hampton Town Board.
