The former Southampton Hospital Thrift Shop, at 79 Main Street, has been sold. The hospital ran the thrift shop on Main Street for decades before moving to smaller leased premises on West Main. The buyer is Mark Zucchero, owner of Flying Point Surf and Sport, who will open a branch of the popular chain in the location. A nice touch was that listing broker Douglas Elliman Real Estate donated $100,000 of their commission from the sale to Southampton Hospital. [Curbedwire]
