Further Lane 'Classic' Sells at Huge Discount Half-Decade Later

New, 1 comment

One would assume that a 1.36-acre parcel of land on Further Lane would sell faster than Sally sells sea shells. But so not the case! This vintage colonial actually languished on the market since October. Of 2007. The 3,000-square-foot home originally sought $6.5 million. But that asking price couldn't have been further (pun intended) from the eventual closing price of $3.7 million. Overall, we think this means that listed buyer Lester Gribetz (and former Bloomingdale's exec) scored a serious deal. Especially since a slightly larger parcel sold across the street for a staggering $5.105 million in 2011.
