Sad news this week. Local CSA Sunset Beach Farm of Sag Harbor is closing and moving on after four years. The owners wrote to CSA members, "Over the winter, [we] have sat down and discussed our future of farming on the East End. After thoroughly weighing the pros and cons, we have decided that we will be relocating our farm to central Vermont. As all of you know, the cost of owning land, let alone a farm, on the East End is an unlikely reality." Also, if anyone wants to buy their laying hens, drop them a line. [Dan's]
