No More Swimming in Filth in Sag Harbor

Water quality at Havens Beach in Sag Harbor is finally set to improve, now that the village has finally figured out where it can dump 1,500 cubic yards of muck. (Apparently they can dump it at the dump Sag Harbor Transfer Station.)
Bacteria levels have been high at the village's only beach for years, but how to clean it up has been stalled at the DEC level. Now that Sag Harbor has figured out what to do with its sediment, it can put the project out for bids. And hopefully, the work will be wrapped up before swimming season.
