A Water Mill developer last month purchased several lots across the street from Bridgehampton Commons. Carol Konner now owns more than 13 acres of developable land. The land is mostly vacant except for the Carvel's.
"I don't know what form it will take yet," Ms. Konner said. "I don't like conflict, though, so I want to do what the town and the residents would like to see there, what is needed."
Well, let's tell Ms. Konner, gang! What do we want to see there? High-end stores for rich folks? Hipster nightclubs? ClownHampton, the area's first college for the clowning arts? Let us know in the comments.
