Holiday Gift Ideas from the East End

New, 2 comments

Need some last-minute gift ideas for the Hamptons lover in your life? As always, we're happy to oblige. We're certain we've forgotten some great choices, so please share some other ideas in the comments. Happy holidays!

Fashion
Montauker Helen Ficalora designs absolutely exquisite jewelry with an East End flair to it. We've been dropping hints for years about the pansy ring with diamonds, but we think pretty much any female would love any of the pieces as a gift.

Kai-Kai sandals are another Montauk brand and incredibly comfortable for summer wear. For more breezy summer wear, check out North Fork lifestyle brand LIDO's covetable clothing and jewelry.

Food
We're lucky to have some really good bakeries here in the Hamptons. Two favorites are local icons Tate's, of course, and Breadzilla in Wainscott.

For mmmmmeat, check out Monte's Ham, all natural and glazed right on the North Fork. We love Smokin' Wolf barbecue sauce at our house, if we're too lazy (like most of the time) to make our mom's recipe.

Long Island wine keeps getting better and better. Try some from Channing Daughters, Duck Walk, or Wölffer for a great time. Also, don't forget about Long Island Vodka for non-wine-drinkers.

How about a little cheese with that wine from Mecox Bay Dairy? Yum. Finally, indulge in a sweet ending to your meal with some delightful Fat Ass Fudge.

Housewares
We're still crazy about the shell items to be found in Southampton's Erika's Place II. And for more beachy interiors, check out Napeague Driftwood Designs, made from East End driftwood for your East End house.

Finally, Slippin' Southern isn't anything to do with the Hamptons, but we absolutely love his stuff and think the fish, mermaid, crab, shark, whale and other nautical plaques would look great in any seaside house.
