Let the hipsterification begin! After several years on the market, the East Deck Motel and Resort in Montauk's Ditch Plains has reportedly been sold for $15 mil. The compound, built in the 1950s, has 30 units, a two-bedroom manager's quarters, and an Olympic-size pool on five oceanfront acres. Word is that the plans are to make it into a surfer's paradise. We hope they don't change too much—while for sure the place could use some updates, a large part of the charm is in its vintage 50s vibe.
