This year's tour, benefiting the East Hampton Historical Society, is titled "A Ramble Along the Coast." It features five houses that are very different from one another. "We believe it is the mix of architectural styles—from the turn of the century to today—that gives East Hampton its unique character and flavor," said Richard Barons, executive director of the historical society. "Our House Tour Committee has creatively selected five homes that uniquely express the spirit of living by the sea."
The self-guided tour is scheduled for Saturday, November 30, from 1 to 4:30PM. A cocktail party the evening before, Friday, November 29, welcomes the East End holiday season.Tickets to the tour are $65 in advance and $75 on the day. Tickets to the opening night cocktail party are $200, which includes entry to the house tour the next day. Tickets can be purchased at the EHHS office at 101 Main Street Tuesday – Saturday, 10 - 3:30, via the website, phone, or at Clinton Academy on November 29 and 30 between 10 - 3:30.
