Just about a month ago, the last time we checked in with Goose Creek, the 25,000sf mansion had just had its price lowered by $5M, down to $10.9M. Now almost another million has been shaved off the price, down to $9.995M. The way things are going, the property should be free in a few months. The house is universally described as a teardown by everyone who's been inside it, except for the brokers. The property is, however, 5.5 acres on an inlet off Georgica Pond. (Of course, it's not exactly cheap to tear down a house that size, either.) Pretty soon the price will be low enough to entice someone. The question is, when?
