Is life an abstraction? Yes. At least, it is at Ashawagh Hall from November 1-3. For those three days, the second annual Life in the Abstract exhibition will transform the building with a kaleidoscope of color, concept and artistic conversation. "Abstraction—the world I love most! I chose these talented artists on the basis of their personal interpretation of abstraction," explains Barbara Groot, artist and curator. This is an ensemble exhibit of four abstract painter—John Haubrich, Fulvio Massi, Barbara Groot and Dru Frederick—who all have strong East End roots, yet are recognized nationwide.
