On Town Line Road in Wainscott, this rental appears to be a pool house. It offers "separate bed and bath, shared kitchen and pool with main house. Close to the ocean! Owner lives in the main house."
In North Sea, there are "one bedroom and bath in cottage; another bedroom and bath in adjacent studio." Total is 950sf. You do get a deck and private garden and it is "across from community pavilion on water."
Right off Montauk Highway in Sagaponack is this "one bedroom cottage" with 500sf set on 3.5 acres. Considering there is a Murphy bed, "studio" is a better descriptor.
If Sag Harbor is where you want to be, this 700sf two-bed cottage is on a half acre with a deck and down the street from a private community beach.
In Shinnecock, you could rent this two-bedroom cottage with 704sf on one acre. It offers a rather nice beamed ceiling.
