Bill & Hillary Clinton Should Buy This Hamptons White House

New, 11 comments

Bill and Hillary Clinton are hunting for a house in the Hamptons. The former President and soon-to-be former Secretary of State spend a considerable amount of time on the East End as it is, so it's no surprise they've tired of being house guests and are looking for a clean, well-lighted place to call their own. There's no word yet about exactly what they're hunting for or which broker they're working with, but we're sure they'd want our real estate advice regardless. So...

While 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is going to be hard to duplicate, we think 315 Rose Hill Rd in Water Mill could be the perfect substitution for the power couple. At $58M, it features 8 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, 8 fireplaces, and tons of Truman-esque balconies all over 20,000-sq-ft and 4 acres. (The real White House is 55,000-sq-ft on 18 acres.)

There's also pool, tennis court, wine cellar, gym, and professional-looking kitchen (perfect for whipping up vegan meals for Bill). And despite the lack of a bowling alley, there's a Koi pond, which we call an even exchange. As for security? "The estate can be controlled and monitored from anywhere in the world through its Crestron security camera and entertainment system."
