With Tumbleweed Tuesday in full effect (although you couldn't tell from the traffic on Main Street in East Hampton right now), we're interested in learning what everyone thought of the summer season as a whole. Traffic (and traffic accidents) all seemed to be way up. Same goes for the number of people hitting the beaches. And don't even get us started on Montauk...almost everyone we spoke with agreed that there were more people than ever visiting "The End" during the last three months. However, many of the folks working in the restaurant industry?especially in East Hampton and Southampton?thought business was slower than usual for summer 2012.
