New Yahoo! Exec's Southampton Home Is Nearing The Red

New, 1 comment

Looks newly hired executive Vice President of People and Development at Yahoo! (corporate speak for "head of HR"), Jacqueline D. Reses, is coming dangerously close to taking a loss on her Little Plains home in Southampton. She shelled out $4.05M for the five-bedroom back in 2008 and, after originally listing it for $4.75M just two weeks ago, has already brought the price down to $4.35M. A loss won't probably sting too badly, though. She's a former Goldman exec and previously led Apax Partners, one of the largest global private equity firms in the world. Oh, and her husband, Matthew Apfel, is the former head writer for Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. So, yeah, they can probably take the hit.

Located about half a mile from the Atlantic, the 3000 sq. ft. residence offers a living room with a fireplace, a gourmet kitchen that has all the high-end fixins, a master suite with its own deck, and "a classic entrance hall that opens through French doors." The .36 acre property also boasts the requisite gunite pool, a two-car garage, a hedged garden, and a brick terrace.

Those interested in seeing this "chic traditional" in person can check it out for themselves tomorrow during an open house from 12:30 to 1:30. As always, if you make it out to the showing, feel free to send us an Email with your impressions of the place.
