Southampton Compound Boasts Three Homes, $8.75M Pricetag

A compound with just two residences? That's soooo last month. This $8.75M offering just hit the market and includes three homes.

According to the Corcoran listing, the original six-bedroom house was built in 1880 and moved to its current Elm Street location about 25 years later. Then, sometime in the 1920s, the original owner built a three-bedroom cottage for each of his sons behind the 6500 sq. ft. main house. Moving back home never seemed so appealing.

The current owner purchased all three residences (70, 72 and 76 Elm Street) in 2007 and then "undertook meticulous renovation and restoration" of each. They now boast amenities like Christopher Peacock kitchens, radiant heat floors, and geo-thermal heating. The main house also offers beamed ceilings, a three-room master suite with two fireplaces (!), and a finished lower level with a media/game room, a gym, a powder room, and staff quarters.

Also found in the one-acre property? A gunite pool, of course! This particular one just happens to offer "fountains, a swim jet, and a sunbathing platform built by Loebs & Gordon."
