Looks like Bobby Van's isn't the only place for cougar-spotting in the Hamptons. According to Patch, Environmental Control Officers were called in to investigate after someone witnessed "a greyish cat-like creature about 5-feet long, 2-feet high at the shoulder with a long striped tail eating composting vegetables and meat scraps" at a farm in East Hampton. While the officers did find tracks that appear to belong to a large animal, they weren't immediately identifiable and pictures have been sent to the Department of Environmental Conservation for further review.
