Before we make with this week's coverage of all things Hamptons, let's take a look back at the week that was. As usual, Curbed readers weren't exactly shy when it came to voicing their opinions. Here's just a sampling of what they had to say.

DO THEY SERVE PBR ON THE PLANE?

"Hipster airlines flight 714 now boarding."

PERMITS? WE DON'T NEED TO STINKIN' PERMITS

"Once again, selective enforcement of the law. It's illegal to rent this house without a valid Rental Permit, which Joe Farrell does not have. When will Code Enforcement properly enforce the law?"

SO...YOU DON'T LIKE IT?

"That is one of the fugliest, confused houses I have ever been inside of. It's really two houses in one. The original house is overtraditional, and the new part is garishly mediterranean. I remember when it was $25mm 8 years ago. It's worth whatever 5.5 acres of vacant land in wainscott SOH is worth, less the demolition costs. Throw that thing in a dumpster and start over."

WRECKING BALL COMING

"I had a summer share in this house about 10 years ago. The house is old and run down, but the property is amazing. The house has a squash court in it. Pretty cool."

GOING ONCE, GOING TWICE...

"That's really a shame. Beautiful home. Maybe a good friend that has some big cash can help Ben out. Rumour is bogus Madoff investments were partially responsible..."
