For those of you who think that the service at restaurants in the Hamptons isn't the greatest, expect things to go from bad to worse over the next few weeks. Not only is this the busiest time of year on the East End, but it's also when all the students start heading back to school. More customers + less staff = an underwhelming dining experience. Michael Gosman, of Gosman's Dock told the East Hampton Star that this is the time of year that management often needs to step in: "You just make do with less. You do whatever it takes to get through the day. If that means I've got to wait tables or bartend, that's just par for the course." [EH Star]
