Norman Jaffe Four-Bedroom Finally Finds Itself A Buyer

We've had our eye on this listing ever since it popped up on our radar back in November. A personal favorite of the late Norman Jaffe, the four-bedroom has been on the market for quite some time?more than two years at this point?and required shaving $2.2M from its pricetag?it was originally listed at $6.95M?but someone finally decided to pull the trigger on Lloyds House.

And what will the new owner be getting for the as-yet-undisclosed sum? Well, provided they don't tear it down to build anew on the 1 acre property (which is always a possibility out here), they'll be moving into a residence full of Jaffe touches: "Sloping glass walls, granite, massive stone walls, slate interior floors, and passive solar forms of design." According to the blog created by his son, the place "needs some maintenance," but getting a little work done to help offset wear and tear is nothing new for the Hamptons.
