Rude diners aren't anything new on the East End (especially during August), but we don't often hear of them getting put in their place. Enter Katie Lee, celebrity chef, cookbook author, and our new favorite person. According to the NY Post, when one surly customer at Red Bar demanded a server bring club soda for a stain on his jacket now, Ms. Lee (who was dining with Beth Ostrosky Stern) went over to the entitled man's table and said, "You know what you need more than club soda? A lesson in manners!" Fellow diners rewarded her dressing down with applause and high-fives. ? [NY Post]
