Doesn't this bungalow-style Sag Harbor rental look like it was just ripped from the pages of a magazine? That's because it was! Specifically the August 2011 issue of HC&G, which tells us that Joseph Cornetta, a local landscape designer, owns the place. And he's apparently willing to rent his .2-acre spread for the rest of the summer for $49,000.
According to the mag, Cornetta was first hired to landscape the three-bedroom home, but then ended up buying it once the original owners jumped ship. You might ask yourself, who would ever abandon this slice of heaven? Well, apparently most people. Before Cornetta totally redid the pad, he described it as "Grey Gardens gone bad." Fortunately, an entirely new interior helped make the home—which started out as a garage—a little more Drew Barrymore and a little less Little Edie. Just ask the swanky new plunge pool.
