Jeffrey Collé's First New Residence In Two Years

New, 11 comments

Little did we know that Jeffrey Coll&eacute was on a hiatus for a little while. He took about two years off from building and became involved in progressive sustainable agriculture. Well, the man responsible for some of the more expensive homes in the area is back, but a little more modestly...both in square footage and price.

Finished just a few weeks ago?although the pre-completed home has been on the market since November?is this 6800 sq. ft. gambrel-style abode that offers the usual suspects of a Collé residence: wood galore (it's got Cyprus flooring and mahogany windows, doors and decking), coffered ceilings, a quartet of fireplaces, and a pair of kitchens (both indoor and out). What's not very indicative of Mr. Collé's prior constructions? The $9.995M pricetag. Still pricey, but considering some of his homes have, at one time or another, been listed for around $30M, it represent a dramatic shift from his previous work.
