East Hampton Patch is reporting that "town police and code enforcement have already ramped up efforts this summer to ensure that taxi cabs, limousines, and party buses are operating within the parameters of state and town law." Over the weekend, the joint effort issued 28 tickets to drivers for numerous offenses such as speeding, running stop signs and blocking traffic.
