Perhaps turned off by all the hullabaloo that went on down the street earlier this month, the owner of this 10,000 sq. ft. Meadow Lane oceanfront has already chopped the price by $2.5M. The new ask for the 3+ acre estate? A still-eye-popping $29.5M.
Between this and Chateau Amorois' recently lowered pricetag, we can't help but wonder what effect, if any, such pricechops have on drumming up buyer interest in the super high-end market. If a potential buyer can afford to shell out $30M for a home they'll only be using a fraction of the year, is lowering the price by 5% or 10% really that big a motivator?
