Glamour At Solé Beach; Big (And Tall) Laughs At Bay Street

67TH ANNUAL NORTH SEA FIRE DEPARTMENT CARNIVAL (North Sea Fireman's Memorial Field, Noyac Road in North Sea)

Who doesn't love a good carnival? The North Sea Fire Department's annual event is back for its 67th outing. The event runs from Friday to Tuesday and goes from 7pm until 11pm each day. And if you're into fireworks, make sure to check it out on Saturday or Tuesday?they'll have displays both nights. [LINK]

STONY HILL STABLES BENEFIT (268 Town Lane, Amagansett)

The help fund the newly created Stony Hill Stable Foundation's mission of bringing equine sports to the local East End community, they're throwing a cocktail party on Saturday from 6pm to 8pm. Cost to attend is a little pricey?$125 per ticket (or $200 for a couple)?but you'll get to see a dressage exhibition and pony drill team performance and it's tax deductible. [LINK]

SALLY SPANBURGH AT BOOKHAMPTON (93 Main Street, Southampton)

On Saturday, Sally Spanburgh, the editor of Southampton Village Review and several books dealing with the history of East End architecture, will be on hand to discuss her new tome, Southampton Cottages of Gin Lane: The Original Hamptons Summer Colony. The talk begins at 5pm and is free (always a plus) to attend. [LINK]

BRUCE VILANCH AND JUDY GOLD AT BAY STREET (The Long Warf, Sag Harbor)

Dubbed "BIG and TALL", Bruce Vilanch (BIG) and Judy Gold (TALL) will be doing their best to make people laugh and help them forget that July 4th falls on a Wednesday this year. Tickets for the Saturday show are $65-$75 or $100 with an after party, which includes food, wine and refreshments and the opportunity to meet these two comedic powerhouses. The fun begins at 8pm. THE GLAMOUR TRUCK AT SOLÉ EAST BEACH (107 South Emerson Avenue, Montauk)

On Sunday between noon and 4pm, Glamour magazine's "Glamour Truck" will be on hand and offering beauty conscious folks some Clinique beachside shopping, refreshing sweet treats, product samples and raffle giveaways. Then, on Monday, the truck will be offering mini facials from RoC Skincare. The Smartwater water cart will also be on hand to help you replenish those ever-important electrolytes.
