When this two-bedroom cottage came on the market waaaay back in February of 2010, the owners were hoping for $985K. During the two+ years since the initial offering, they dropped the price five times. It looks like they they decided enough is enough. Yesterday, they upped the price by $200K. They're now asking $799K.
Set on .76 cleared acres, the listing boasts of like-new construction, a "separate (could be) pool house," winter water views, and the home's proximity to both 26 acres of East Hampton Town wildlife reserve and a marina on Three Mile Harbor. Apparently, it's been "totally rewired and [offers a] new heating system," but we can't believe that justifies the new pricetag. And now that potential buyers will see how low the owners were once willing to go, it's going to be hard for them to shell out anything more.
