A New Challenger For The Title Of Most Amusing Brokerbabble

New, 14 comments

Looks like Gary DePersia, the reigning champ of amusing listing copy, has some competition for his crown. We just came across this $1.525M East Hampton offering and couldn't help but laugh at the broker's description of the place. Check it out:

"A sunny day in the garden of joy. Set in an ambiance reflective of Tuscany, one finds this charming cottage along with a companion cottage surrounded by lush foliage. An ideal beach cottage with a totally separate guest cottage exists in a garden not imagined. Serene and quiet, it is the place to enjoy sun or sunset. Main cottage has easy country kitchen, living room and ensuite bedroom. Al Fresco dining on brick patio steps from the cottage makes for a fun time, Totally private, sequestered by tall trees and hidden in a quiet refuge one enjoys the basics along with a bike ride to the beach, a ticket to the movies, a bus to the city."We have no idea how much of an impact putting this much effort into the brokerbabble has when it comes selling a place, but it sure does keep things interesting. If you happen to come across anything similarly creative while checking out East End listings, be sure to send it our way. · Listing: Cottage SOH In East Hampton Village [Brown Harris Stevens]
