While the summer months traditionally mean a slowdown in the real estate market, there's still a little action going down. Case in point: This five-acre spread currently owned by financial planning poobah Alan R. Leist Jr.

Emphasis should be placed on "currently" because, according to HREO, Mr. Leist has a buyer lined for the $15.5M listing. And all it took was almost a full year and a $1.75M chop back in January. So...anyone care to venture a guess as to the final purchase price? Keep in mind, the massive south-of-the-highway property includes 400' of waterfront on Old Towne Pond, an enormous rolling lawn with old-growth vegetation and a "linden tree under which 200 people can dine."
