Now that the holiday weekend is in the rear view, we're interested in learning what folks who were in town thought about it. We've heard conflicting reports from several different sources about how it measured up to last year. The cab drivers out in Montauk described the late-night scene outside of Ruschmeyer's as a shit show in which cars were laying on their horns like it was NYC. We spoke to some people in the restaurant industry who thought it was about the same as last year. A few Curbed readers were kinda disappointed with what they saw. One said, "The [Southampton] village strip was dead and many store fronts empty." If you made it out East for the weekend, what was your impression?
