We have some incredibly sad news to report. Long-time Hamptons real estate agent Tara Newman passed away unexpectedly sometime last night/early this morning. Ms. Newman had been a fixture on the East End?not just its real estate industry?for decades. Once married to American Hotel owner Ted Conklin, she was responsible for some of the biggest sales in Sag Harbor, always quick to offer up a sound bite and even quicker with her wit. The cause of death has yet to be determined.
