When The Pavilion burned down at the end of last year, it was a sad day for many a fabulous visitor to Fire Island. Perhaps the only consolation was that Seth Weissman and Andrew Kirtzman's Blesso Properties tapped Diller Scofidio + Renfro (the firm responsible for the High Line and Lincoln Center's makeover) to redesign the space. Renders have begun to surface (you can check out four of them above) and it certainly looks like the island's social scene will be back in full swing come next summer. Thoughts?
