We've been wondering what this three-acre East Hampton estate would go for after we learned that it was as "In Contract" back in April and now we know: $12.5M.
Interestingly, the sale involved two different buyers. The two acre lot with the 5700 sq. ft. home where Alan B. Slifka (an investor, philanthropist, co-founder of the Abraham Fund and founding chairman of the Big Apple Circus) used to spend his summers ended up changing hands for $7.5M. The one acre parcel that the brokerbabble noted could be used "for [a] future guesthouse, development or investment" went for an even $5M.
